Many diagnostic services can be completed while you wait to ensure an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment by the time you walk out the door. If necessary, MVH veterinarians confer with renowned experts in specialized fields to provide the best medicine for your best friend.

MVH is happy to be able to provide complete in-house blood chemistry and hematology services. In addition, we provide a wide variety of additional GI, skin, blood-borne disease and cytological evaluations in our in-house lab.

Outside laboratory services, when necessary, are provided and supported by Cornell University, Michigan State University, Texas A&M University, Minnesota State University, NYS Animal Health Diagnostic Services, and Idexx.


Imaging

Board certified in both radiology and radiation oncology, Dr. Victor Rendano oversees diagnostic imaging at Veterinary Multi-Imaging.

Dr. Rendano graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1972. Following veterinary school, he continued his studies by completing an internship and residency at the University of Guelph and a Master of Science Degree at Washington State University.

After finishing a rigorous training program, he was inducted as a diplomate into the American College of Veterinary Radiology and received his board certification 1975.

In 1976, Dr. Rendano accepted a tenure track faculty position in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Rendano worked at Cornell as an associate professor and senior radiology clinician for 20 years. In 1996, Dr. Rendano retired from his position at Cornell Veterinary School in order to study radiation oncology and pursue a career in private practice.

Having completed his radiation oncology studies at Cornell University, Colorado State University, University of Wisconsin, Washington State University and the SUNY Medical Center in Syracuse, New York, Dr. Rendano was awarded board certification in veterinary radiation oncology in 2001.

Dr. Rendano has published over 100 papers and has lectured throughout the world. The New York State Veterinary Medical Society and the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Society have honored him for his outstanding career and his dedication to the veterinary profession. A firm believer in veterinary continuing education, Dr. Rendano has offered radiology film reading sessions, ultrasound lectures and wet labs to primary care veterinarians.
